Background

The Ford Foundation is an independent, nonprofit grant-making organization and the second-largest philanthropy in the Unites States. For over 75 years it has worked with organizations and people on the frontlines of social change worldwide, guided by its mission to strengthen democratic values, reduce poverty and injustice, promote international cooperation, and advance human achievement.

Durable works with Ford Foundation on all aspects of the organization’s interactive strategy, design and development. Ford Foundation has become the standard of excellence for how large philanthropies can better execute their mission using interactive media - including Web, social media, kiosks, and mobile - stemming from a deep understanding of audiences needs and the role of information design to advance social change.
